One of the types of objects in Praat.
A FormantGrid object represents spectral structure as a function of time: a formant contour. Unlike the evenly sampled Formant object, it consists of a number of formant tiers and bandwidth tiers, each of which contains a number of formant or bandwidth points (or targets), sorted by time.
