To combine two (or more) mono Sound objects into one single stereo (i.e. multi-channel) Sound, select those Sounds in the list and choose Combine to stereo from the Combine menu. A new stereo Sound will appear in the list.
Of the two original mono Sounds, the one that is higher in the list will become the left channel of the new stereo Sound, and the one that is lower in the list will become the right channel of the new Sound.
You can also create Sounds with e.g. 3 or 5 or 100 channels in this way. The topmost selected mono Sound will become channel 1, and the bottommost selected mono Sound will become the last channel.
