Most people at Phonetic Sciences are members of the research institute ACLC (Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication).
Applications for a PhD position can be done through the research institute ACLC every year around February. Sometimes there are positions within externally funded projects. If you write your own proposal, you do that in November. See the ACLC website for more information.
