Paul Smolensky & Géraldine Legendre (2006): The harmonic mind. MIT Press.
These two books contain all material on connectionism by Smolensky and colleagues from the late eighties on, with extensive editing to make it into a coherent work, plus much new material.
This book can be seen in many respects as the predecessor of Prince & Smolensky (1993).
If you want to read a single chapter, I recommend Soderstrom, Mathis & Smolensky (2006).
