Praat only supports a fixed inter-stimulus interval, but sometimes you may want to test discrimination as a function of the inter-stimulus interval itself. You can achieve this by supplying an stimulusMedialSilenceDuration of 0 and using sound files with various silences:
"300,silence0.5,320" "300,silence1.5,320" "300,silence4.5,320"
In this example, you have to supply the sound files silence0.5.wav and so on. You can create them with the help of Create Sound from formula... (supply a formula of 0).
