Overview
The workshop “Using EEG in linguistics and cognitive science” will be held on Friday, February 26.
There will be morning lectures on the EEG signal, data analysis and application in linguistic research. In the afternoon there is a lab demonstration in which you will be introduced to the practice of collecting EEG data, and a data analysis computer practical in which you will gain hands-on experience with the analysis software Brain Vision Analyzer.
The workshop is free and open to everyone. For the lectures there is no registration required. Registration for the lab demonstration and data analysis practical has ended; both are already fully booked. Registration before February 12 is required if you wish to participate in the lab demonstration, data analysis practical, and/or the workshop lunch (at your own expense). You can register for one or more activities by sending us an e-mail: eegworkshop@gmail.com.
If you wish to participate in the data analysis practical, we advise you to come to the data analysis lecture too. See "Programme" for more detailed information.
N.B. If you are too late to register for the lab demonstration or data analysis practical, you may be interested in the ACLC lecture by Eve Clark.
