F43AI begins the conversation by saying that she thinks that it is strange that people are afraid to approach an old friend. M64E says that it is typically Dutch that we call first before we meet with friends. F43AI says that Dutch people are not really good in spontaneous meetings.  M64E thinks that Scandinavians are also not good in social interaction. M64E says that they want to become drunk as fast as possible, that it is their way of relaxing. This reminds F43AI of a party where everyone was barefooted. They talk about Roots shoes that were in fashion a long time ago. F43AI says that she tried them on once when she was fifteen, but she thought that they were very inelegant. 

F43AI talks about feminism. According to F43AI there was a core group in the seventies that was a bit hateful towards men. M64E  says that women were not allowed to dress in a feminine way. M64E mentions that there are now new ideas about fashion. F43AI says that she thinks that fashion does not have that much to do with beauty. She talks about an old movie titled "Working Girl" that reminded her of the fashion of a long time ago. She can't imagine that she once wore that fashion. They talk about their mothers who made all the clothing themselves. 

M64E says that he attended a catholic boys' school. They talk about gender roles and stereotypes. M64E says that there was a lot of fighting on his school. F43AI says that women do not talk when they are angry. She says that she had the most trouble with other girls on school. M64E had a disagreement with a teacher and he went to a different school. He liked his new school better. He is not sure whether it was a boys' school.
